Terra Treat N
Terra Treat N is a combination of organic acids, Placidomyces fungi, and microbes. It is primarily a soil improver formulated for use on soils where certain soilborne pathogens are present.
Terra Treat N controls nematodes by restoring natural balances in the soil. Various species of bacteria and Placidomyces fungi are used, as well as organic acids.
Firstly, the organic acids irritate the cell walls of the nematodes, which then exposes them to infections by natural soil organisms. The Placidomyces fungi also attack the nematodes and their eggs.
The purpose of the bacterial species used is primarily to make the biological household in the soil more favorable for the natural pathogens of nematodes, such as the predatory nematodes. The Placidomyces fungi also attack the nematodes. If, for example, in vitro tests are done, not much will happen to the nematodes, because it is a relatively dead and sterile environment. In soil, which is a dynamic biological environment, there are results.
Applications
Where there are heavy infestations of nematodes, it is recommended that conventional chemical pesticides be used first, as it takes time for the natural enemies of nematodes to reestablish and multiply. If Terra Feed is combined at 10 l/ha, the action of Terra Treat N is accelerated.
Apply 20 l/ha Terra Treat N in combination with 25 l/ha Terra Restore before planting or as soon as possible afterwards. Usually, the Sodium levels in the soils are high together with the nematode infestation, hence the Terra Restore. Irrigate together with the application. If the product is sprayed on the ground and only irrigated later the same day, spray in the late afternoon or at night. Because Terra Treat N is of natural origin, it is not toxic at all to humans, plants or animals. There is also no withholding period after application. It is important that Terra Treat N is part of a biological integrated management program.

Combine with Humate at equal amounts as Terra Treat N.
High pH soils
Combine with Terra Restore at 20 l/ha 2 weeks after Terra Treat N application.
